Welcome to Pawtucket Citizens
Development Corporation
"Improving Pawtucket's Neighborhoods"

The Pawtucket Citizens Development Corporation (PCDC) is a non-profit community development corporation (CDC) that was established in 1990. PCDC develops affordable housing for rental and homeownership and works with the City of Pawtucket to reduce density and eliminate blight in the Barton Street, Woodlawn, and Pleasant View neighborhoods of Pawtucket.

PCDC is dedicated to community revitalization in the Pawtucket area by providing safe, decent, affordable housing for rental and home ownership for low to moderate income families as well as through the promotion of economic development.

To date, PCDC has completed 85 units of affordable rental housing and fourteen one and two family homes sold to first-time homebuyers. There are also an additional 30 units in the construction or development phase.

PCDC has a certified Home Buyer counselor who teaches First time Home Buyer Classes, Condominium Classes, and counsels first time homebuyers.
